Before my intervalometer died with my D90 I started playing around with night time-lapse photography. But before I could really go for it the port on my camera broke. Since the D7000 has a built in intervalometer I’m exciting about not having to carry around one more piece of gear.
So I finally got to shoot my first last week…it’s not the best, but I think I know exactly what I do to make it rock for next time.

Reminds me of when I took a few shots of sunsets and stars in the Texas Hill Country a while back. I had had my D90 about 2 weeks at the time and didn’t have an intervalometer. Can’t wait to be far enough outside a city to try something like that again.
